A Triviyo iCal feed is a private web address for your bookings. Paste it into Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar and your bookings appear there and stay up to date. The feed is read-only: changes you make in your calendar app do not change Triviyo.

What it does

  • Publishes your bookings, and optionally your time slots, as a standard iCalendar (.ics) feed.
  • Lets you create several feeds, for example one per guide or one per experience, each with its own private address.
  • Lets you regenerate a feed's address at any time, which switches off the old address for everyone who had it.

Who it is for

Owners and guides who live in their own calendar app and want to see the day's bookings next to everything else, without logging in to Triviyo.

Set it up

  1. Open Settings → Calendar and create a feed. Choose what it includes.
  2. Copy the feed address.
  3. Subscribe to it:
    • Google Calendar: Other calendars → From URL, then paste the address.
    • Outlook on the web: Add calendar → Subscribe from web, then paste the address.
    • Apple Calendar: File → New Calendar Subscription, then paste the address.

Limitations

  • Read-only. Busy times in your calendar app do not block availability in Triviyo, and events you edit there are not written back.
  • Your calendar app decides how often it refreshes the feed. Google Calendar, for example, can take several hours to show a new booking.
  • Anyone with the address can read the feed. Share it only with your team, and regenerate it when someone leaves.

Troubleshooting

  • A new booking is missing: wait for your calendar app's next refresh, or remove and re-add the subscription.
  • A former team member still sees bookings: regenerate the feed address in Settings → Calendar and share the new address with your current team.
