- Published per-booking fees range from 0.5% to 6%. The median entry-plan rate is 3%.
- FareHarbor adds its fee to the guest's price instead of charging the operator. Xola and Campspot also add a guest fee but do not publish the rate.
- Bokun publishes a lower per-booking rate than Triviyo's 2.5%: 1–1.5% depending on the plan. If the lowest percentage is what matters most to you, it is the cheaper option on fees.
- TrekkSoft publishes a lower per-booking rate than Triviyo's 2.5%: 2–3% depending on the plan. If the lowest percentage is what matters most to you, it is the cheaper option on fees.

Method
- Sample: the 13 tour, activity, rental and campsite booking platforms on Triviyo's comparison pages whose pricing Triviyo tracks, plus Triviyo itself.
- Source: only each vendor's own public pricing or help pages. No review sites, resellers or sales quotes.
- Dates: every row shows the date its source was read. Bokun, Rezdy, Checkfront, TrekkSoft, TicketingHub, Peek Pro, TripWorks, Newbook, Xola, Campspot, Regiondo were first read on 2026-10-04 and read again on 2026-10-25; their published pricing had not changed. Ventrata was added on 2026-10-25. FareHarbor's help centre refused automated access on 2026-10-25, so its figure is from 2026-10-04.
- Entry plan: the cheapest paid plan that can take online bookings, with that plan's per-booking rate.
- Example cost: per-booking fee × 100,000 + 12 × entry-plan monthly price.
Definitions
- Per-booking fee: a percentage of each online booking payment kept by the booking platform. See platform fee.
- Who pays: whether the vendor adds the fee to the guest's price or charges it to the operator. See guest-paid booking fee.
Limitations
- Card processing fees are not included. They depend on the payment provider, card type and country.
- Rates often depend on the plan. Higher plans can carry a lower percentage and a higher monthly price; the table shows the entry plan and the published range.
- Some prices are billed annually. TrekkSoft shows its monthly prices as billed annually.
- Not every vendor could be checked. Lodgify's pricing page refused automated access on 2026-10-25, so it is left out of the sample.
- Prices change. Each row shows the date its source was read. Check the vendor's page before you decide.
- Published price is not the whole cost. Setup fees, add-ons, OTA commission and support tiers are outside this study.
- Triviyo publishes this study and is one of the platforms in it. Triviyo's row comes from its own pricing page: 2.5% per online booking on every plan and 29 EUR a month for the Starter plan.
